Juliette Weiss

Juliette Weiss is a Senior Design Manager at Microsoft that has a proven track record at bringing version-0 products to life.

As Head of Design of what is now known as Willie’s Superbrew, she helped launch and secure initial funding for the hard seltzer brand.

From there, Juliette joined Microsoft where she initially worked on Window’s Developer Experiences and shipped the first version of the Window’s Mixed Reality Platform. She was then asked to lead and build a new product design team for a product that is now publicly announced as Dynamics 365 Connected Store. For the past 3 years, she has been bringing this product from incubation to general availability as well as beginning to incubate another, to be announced, AI product. She has been key to building a holistic strategy for Microsoft’s future of work vision.

Juliette is open to mentoring folks at various points of their career and is passionate about growing both design ICs and design leaders. She values design excellence and growing talent to improve how they approach work across people, product, and processes.

Nick Finck

Nick Finck is a UX professional with over two decades of experience in the industry. He strives to improve people’s lives through crafting well-designed experiences that matter. Nick currently consults businesses on UX design and research through Craft & Rigor in Seattle. Before this, he was in leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, Facebook, Ubermind, Deloitte Digital, projekt202, and his own agency Blue Flavor.

Nick’s contributions to the UX community go far and wide. He is an experienced public speaker and has given over 102 talks in 10 countries. He has mentored countless industry professionals and career transitioners. Nick is also the curator of UXSeattle.org, a resource for UX professionals in the greater Seattle area. Earlier in his career, he was the publisher of Digital Web Magazine, an online magazine for web professionals.

Cheriyan Manalel

I design elegant and unique digital products focusing on intuitive user experience. I’ll introduce myself, my name is Cheriyan. I’m a designer from Kerala, India with a passionate belief in the power of beautiful aesthetics and user experience to solve business problems. I steered my career towards UI and UX over 8 years ago, as I thrive on the challenges presented outside my comfort zone.

Since then, I’ve delivered web and mobile solutions for companies great and small around the globe, from large corporates to startups. I can help you find smart, elegant solutions that deliver lasting, meaningful experiences for your users.

Hugo Samayoa

I have had the opportunity to work in many processes with more than 10 years of experience I’m a multi-task designer, this allows me to be more creative and proactive. I’m a digital designer, the last 4 years I have been working in companies related to cryptocurrencies, wallets and exchanges.

I’m sure that I can show my students interesting things, good practices and help them understand the client’s perspective for their future projects

 

 

 

Renata Amatore

Renata is a UX Design Consultant with experience working across a number of different industries and client types. She runs a UX consultancy and mentors upcoming UX designers as well. She has worked in B2b projects as a UX leader and as a consultant for B2c startups. She has expertise working in industries such as shipping, fintech, gamification.

 

Daniel Schwartz

Daniel Schwartz is.a product designer with over 15 years experience leading, designing, and creating first class user experiences for enterprise software on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. 11 years of this time was at Oracle, following with leading design at startups after. During this time, his focus has been in enterprise software with a focus on complex B2B use cases, AI/ML systems, raising the bar of the expectations of B2B UX, data visualizations. He holds several patents and patent pending applications for his work and has spoken several times at ACM CHI and UXPA. Daniel also has presented technology-based art projects with the ZERO1 Biennial and Grey Area Foundation for the Arts. He studied Computer Science with a focus on Human Computer Interaction at Washington University St.Louis.

 

Luis Gonzalez

Luis is an award winning designer and art director who specializes in all things brand and web with a focus in tech, e-commerce, and the startup world. Currently he is the Lead Art Director at Frame.io where he leads the brand design efforts. Previously he worked at Squarespace and InVision, and before that in Advertising and Branding agencies. Luis has helped develop a wide range of international branding campaigns from idea to execution and is excited to share his knowledge to people just getting their start in the creative industry.

 

Anthony Faria

Anthony is the Director of Product Design at the New York based startup Handshake. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design and studied at the University of the Arts where he received his BFA. With over 20 years of experience Anthony has worked at ad agencies, media companies and startups using his creative talents for web, mobile, print and brand design. As a leader Anthony has built and managed creative teams understanding what it takes to be successful in the field. He is a collaborator and mentor, guiding others through the complexities of the industry helping them to achieve success.

 

McLane Teitel

McLane Teitel is a New York-based designer whose work sits at the intersection of Product and Visual Design, with a heavy emphasis on craft. He is currently a Staff Experience Designer at Airbnb, working in a sector of the design organization focused on short and long term product innovation. Before that, he was a Design Manager at Squarespace, working across the company’s brand and website.
