Cory Burnett

I’ve been delivering human-centered outcomes in the digital-world, for 21 years. Most recently with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Where I’ve been designing improved outcomes for ~1.5 years. The last ~11.5 years have been spent building; Design teams, Design practices and mature Products – mostly in Construction Tech. While delivering improved outcomes across all 3 Horizons, for Startups and Enterprises alike. Gaining a foundation in Design Leadership, Design Ops, Design Thinking, User Experience, Product Management and the Business Strategy behind it all.

 

 

Iain Heath

Product Experience Designer, Writer and Mentor; contributing to design at Sainsbury’s. Managing the product experience for colleague tools by crafting experiences, so Sainsbury’s can continue to evolve, as a modern digital retailer. Using diverse thinking to solve human problems in the modern world. Writer for UX Collective, an independent design publication built to curate and elevate unheard design voices all over the world (ISSN: 2766-5267). And mentoring at Sainsbury’s, Loughborough University, De Montfort University and through Interaction Design Foundation courses. I’ve worked as an Experience Designer for over 12 years both client side and agency side. During that time I’ve supported the digital strategy and creation of design teams across 2 large national brands. Currently as a hiring manager I care deeply about the personal development of my own team (and wider design team), so I’ve been leading a design mentoring scheme of 10+ mentoring pairs for over a year now.

Ana Santos

Ana currently has her own UX agency based in Portugal. Formerly at Google, she has also worked with several agencies, start-ups and as an independent consultant for corporate clients. At Google Portugal she has co-led the mobile UX initiative, working with some of the biggest Portuguese companies across different industries, helping them improve their mobile user experience and make use of the modern mobile web technologies to their advantage. She has also collaborated with global teams at Google for global mobile UX initiatives.

 

Mo Touman

I am an accomplished UX/UI designer with 10+ years of industry experience focused on understanding users’ behaviours, their social and behavioural triggers and identifying and designing for all touchpoints of the user experience. I have worked on a large number of projects across industry including British Telecom’s UX Centre of Excellence, Plusnet and many startups. I led the UX & UI design of B2B and B2C portals, Mobile Apps, Interactive TV and Gaming Apps across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Windows), Conversational Interfaces, AR & VR apps, service delivery, corporate security, VoIP apps and have great familiarity with coding and cloud platforms such as AWS and Low code (OutSystems).

 

Sultan Shalakhti

Sultan is a Digital Product Designer who creates beautiful and easy-to-use digital products. He has deep experience in communication design, User experience, Mobile / devices user interface, digital advertising, and more. He recently revamped some Arab influential online sites, like Souq.com, Sukar.com, terhaal.com and ICT Qatar (key sites in MENA). He also handled and managed the creative for big projects like the Newssnapr app, Think Arabia, Jeeran, Cakelicious Group, Nestle, General Electric & Samsung to name a few.

 

Mike Jongbloet

Hi, I’m a UX and strategy focused designer with over a decade of experience working in digital. Whilst I’ve spent most of my career in agency environments; first as a designer/developer, then as a User Experience Lead, and most recently as Head of Design, I’ve also worked in the corporate environment and have most recently taken on a new challenge in a start-up, where I’ve chosen to make the unusual move from a leadership position back to being an individual contributor. As well as practical design skills and approaches, I’ve also got experiences and lessons to share on being the first design hire, being a design team of one, leading a design team and growing a design team.

 

Carlye Cunniff

Carlye is a Senior Manager of UX Design at Amazon, leading a design organization that works on internal products for Amazon’s global workforce. She began her career as a professional dancer before making the huge leap to UX and knows what it’s like to change directions and find work in a totally new field. She’s since worked as a UX consultant, a freelance designer, a senior designer at Amazon, and a UX instructor at General Assembly.
