He recently revamped some Arab influential online sites, like Souq.com, Sukar.com, terhaal.com and ICT Qatar (key sites in MENA). He also handled and managed the creative for big projects like the Newssnapr app, Think Arabia, Jeeran, Cakelicious Group, Nestle, General Electric & Samsung to name a few.
I’m currently a Senior UX Design Manager at CrowdStrike, in addition to running my own UX and product strategy consulting and freelance business. I have an MFA in product design and merchandising, a BA in journalism and graphic design, and more than 15 years of experience as a designer/researcher for companies including Lowe’s Home Improvement, The Hershey Company, Dell, and Benefitfocus. Clients have included Google, Cooper Vision, Ricoh, and Nationwide. I’ve worked in agencies, in-house on central design teams, and have a background in marketing communications, e-commerce, graphic design, content strategy, user interface design, interaction design, and qual/quant/mixed method user research. I specialize in health/wellness and data management products, and use design thinking processes to discover user needs, define value and fit with proof-of-concepts and MVPs, manage and recruit participants for user research, and iteratively improve/redesign products through testing and experiments. I am an innovative and creative UX/UI designer leading design work in biggest Australian telco’s Innovation and Product & Technology team. I consult with customers to understand their motivations and how they use technology, so that the team can build seamless solutions that bring real value for the business and users’ everyday lives in agile environment. As a designer in Innovation and Incubation team I was implementing the “Double Diamond” process. My expertise was to deliver best UX solution within lean startup environment and ensure we actively empathised with end users. I would consult with the customer and their teams to understand their objectives, build and test prototypes (both low- and hi-fidelity), and liase with developers to ensure smooth handover.
