My career has allowed me to work across and teach a wide range of UX disciplines and now lead me to specialise in SaaS & complex applications.
From planning the strategy for enterprise products, spending weeks researching onboard cargo ships, working as a “Design team of one”, or building and leading Product and Design teams; I have been fortunate to work with some amazing Designers to deliver exceptional experiences.
Whether it’s defining product direction, establishing principles, portfolio reviews or just some support, the best tool a Designer can have, is another Designer.
I design with intention and align for impact, and my strengths are in interaction design and systems thinking. I tackle end-to-end product design strategy, planning, definition, execution and delivery. I’m an ex-Googler, and also have experience in freelancing, startups as well as user research, content strategy. I also run Roseville UX, a local design community, and co-created the Life Experience Design podcast.
I am an innovative and creative UX/UI designer leading design work in biggest Australian telco’s Innovation and Product & Technology team. I consult with customers to understand their motivations and how they use technology, so that the team can build seamless solutions that bring real value for the business and users’ everyday lives in agile environment. As a designer in Innovation and Incubation team I was implementing the “Double Diamond” process. My expertise was to deliver best UX solution within lean startup environment and ensure we actively empathised with end users. I would consult with the customer and their teams to understand their objectives, build and test prototypes (both low- and hi-fidelity), and liase with developers to ensure smooth handover.
